Color Clash

This game was made for the AI and Games 2023 game jam. The theme was "Copycat".

It's a simple 1v1 shooter game where players stand on opposing platforms and have to fire colored projectiles at each other. 

The key mechanic is that the color of the projectile is determined by the color of the platform the character is currently standing on. Platform color can be switched by player.

In order to win you have to hit your opponent with complementary colors as defined on the RGB color wheel:

Red + Cyan Green + Magenta Blue + Yellow

There are 2 different AI implementations in the game:

• "Easy" = Movement is random and shooting projectile in regular intervals. AI does not switch platform color.
• "Advanced" = AI has higher fire rate for projectiles and can switch color to save itself.
